Siena Way

Bel Air, California. Nestled on a steep, narrow site in Bel Air, this home by Plus Development Group is both deceptively expansive and wonderfully intimate. The unique building form follows the natural contours of the land, resulting in an organic floor plan that effortlessly blends indoor and outdoor spaces. The design allows natural light and fresh air to flow through the home, creating a harmonious connection with its surroundings. Inside, select grade black walnut flooring in our Juniper W102 finish casts a warm, inviting glow while preserving the deep richness of the walnut.

Matching flooring and wall paneling, paired with a restrained interior palette of monochromatic black and white finishes, allow the home to seamlessly blend into its natural surroundings. This ethos embodies the essence of Seamless Wood Design™, showcasing the highest level of hardwood flooring craftsmanship in North America. The design highlights the natural beauty of the wood—pure and simple. With a focus on quality finishing techniques and a less-is-more approach, it represents our most honest, unadulterated finishes.

The main space is anchored by two light wells and a monumental staircase that channels daylight down to the lower levels. For this, we provided mitered box treads in a matching grade and finish, ensuring seamless continuity between floors. Throughout the 14,000 SF building, intricate geometries converge with refined materials, beautifully accentuating the site while defining spaces for both public and private functions.
